Literacy Narrative Project.

So this week, we had to write out first "Paper" for English class. There wasn't much to it, mostly we were supposed to just stay on topic and answer the question from the prompt. This was all for our literacy narrative project. I wrote mine using the "Memory Story prompt". I wrote about my 11th grade English teacher and if i recall, I wrote one of my blogs about her as well. She was a very hard teacher that inspired me. She changes the way i look at school and taught me to set higher expectations about myself. That is basically the summary for my paper. I have not had to really write that much this year from any of my classes which is weird because i was told that this was all i was going to be doing in college. I have a feeling it is because all of my classes are freshman classes. But anyways I hope you all enjoy reading my paper and hopefully it will get better. My first draft was a little rough i found out after looking over on it.

  1. So I like what you said about your draft being rough! Well it's supposed to be so it's no big deal! (:

  3. I had the same senario in my junior year English class. My teacher was hard but ultimately it improved my writing skills. I haven't had to write a lot this year either so far, but just wait for it, I am sure it will come sooner or later. And it is okay that your draft was rough, that is why we call it a rough draft! I promise it will get better. Good luck with it!

  4. I did memory story thing too, I wrote about how my paper totally sucked but as I go through it now I sort of understand what she meant by it and is helping me be a stronger writer.

  5. interested in what it means to stay on topic... how did you know that this was something you should do... how do you know if you are doing it... are there times when going off topic can be useful? Hmmmmm....
